One day with our team in Plovdiv
It has been more than 10 years since our company first set foot in Plovdiv. And little did we know that with time this beautiful city would become one of the most visited cities for us, both professionally and personally.
Through the years we managed to help many companies in the region by expanding their borders and getting one-step closer to excellence. We have helped our clients improve their employees’ motivation and engagement with different employee development systems, various trainings and other initiatives. We have carried out lean transformation programs to help them improve their internal processes and the relationship with their customers and suppliers, we have helped with general strategy improvements, we have helped them better manage their customer relationships by implementing Salesforce CRM, as well as their business by implementing SAP ERP, and the list goes on…
It was only natural, that at one point we would open an office there. The only question was what would trigger it?
The first step was when we enforced the work-from-anywhere policy, which allowed our people to really settle their workplace wherever they felt most at home, closer to their families. And for a few lucky ones this was exactly Plovdiv.
The second step was when we got the opportunity to get in touch with one of the most renowned universities in the region – the Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”. This was a turning point in our people strategy as we realized Plovdiv is not only filled with multiple successful companies and businesses but also has extremely talented and energetic young people that strive to achieve more in their lives. This energy is exactly what we were looking for when we aimed to expand our “family”, so it was only natural that we focused on the student community there when we were recruiting for our 2022 summer internship program.
As a result, we were lucky enough that seven of the top most talented students from Plovdiv University chose us as their career start, and all of them remained in our company after the program was over. In just a few months, from 1 person, our team there grew to eight people, and this, for us, is just the beginning, of what we hope will be - a long and happy relationship with the city’s talent.
As we open our office in Plovdiv today, we feel so inspired by the people’s energy, the business, and all of the friendships we have acquired in the region, that the city has become a significant part of the strategy for the future development of Next Consult.
So, we want to say “Thank You pLOVEdiv” for everything you have done for us, and we promise, we will continue to give our best for the prosperity of the town and the region.
